Made in India, for Indian footwear stores

KounterPOS is billing, stock and accounting software made only for footwear and accessories stores in India, from a single boot house to a chain with a godown.

Why only footwear

Shoes do not sell like groceries. One style is dozens of sizes and colours, GST changes with the price of each pair, and the busiest days are the ones when the network fails. General-purpose billing software treats all of this as an exception. We made it the starting point.

Every sale posts a balanced double-entry journal, so the owner and the CA see the same numbers the counter billed.

What we believe

  • The counter must never wait for the internet.
  • The books must balance on their own, every bill.
  • Staff should work in the language they are comfortable with, English or Hindi.
  • We are open about how the service runs: security, status and changelog are public.
